CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHING

Integral Breathwork is a healing modality where a person learns to establish a conscious, connected breathing practice and integrate well-being across all domains of life. This modality of breathwork (Breathwave, Conscious Connected Breathing) is facilitated with the breather laying down, receiving verbal and hands-on support from a facilitator to promote healing by correcting unhelpful breathing patterns.

Patrick maintains a safe, trauma-sensitive space where dynamic, present-moment awareness can liberate old, unexpressed emotions and resolve limiting beliefs about one’s self. Any thoughts, feelings, memories, or images that arise during a session are integrated with the gentle nurture of connected breathing and present-moment awareness. New baselines of physical, emotional, and spiritual vitality are awakened through the breath and deepened through Patrick’s integrative approach to psychological well-being.

BREATHWAVE

Breathwave is a powerfully gentle approach to conscious connected breathwork.

Learning to bring present moment awareness to a conscious breathing practice activates and deepens sensitivity to our subtle (vibrational, energetic, emotional) bodies. The gentle approach to our innate subtle-sensing capacity via Breathwave safely expands our neural potentiality for wholeness and deepens our connection to consciousness itself. Any habitual resistance to the power of conscious awareness tends to show up as unwholesome patterns in participants' breathing pattern or body posture; a Breathwave facilitator helps identify and correct these imbalances, making easy the removal of barriers that keep us from sustained coherence with Breath/Spirit.

OUR BREATH CARRIES THE IMPRINT OF OUR PERCEPTION

The way we breathe is shaped by contraction and restriction as a response to experiences we didn’t yet have the capacity to process or integrate—trauma, emotional overwhelm, or anywhere we’ve collapsed in the face of physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual pain.

This resistance shows up as a unique pattern in the breath. It’s an intelligent adaptation for survival, but it limits our ability to live with clarity or meet life in right relation.

Even when we begin to recognize these patterns and can feel how far we’ve drifted from our core, the way out of these deeply worn pathologies may remain unclear. Understanding alone doesn’t bridge into a felt experience, and the nervous system remains unconvinced when the body and mind are out of coherence.

Without that psychosomatic connection, the body keeps carrying the impact of what hasn’t yet been integrated.

The unresolved charge remains in the system—often expressed as chronic discomfort, stress, anxiety, or illness.

These symptoms are the residue of energy that is not in flow.
